Anti-Fraud Initiative Ghana's Isaac Obour, the only African speaker on the closing plenary session at the Global Fraud Summit organized by UNODC and INTERPOL, urged emerging economies to prioritize fraud prevention and effective victim support.
He highlighted the need to safeguard the gains made in financial inclusion, convenient financial services and the digital economy while ensuring that the people most exposed to fraud are not left behind.
